Can Inmates Plead for Inmates?

Have you heard of Catherine May Wood who was sent to prison for murder of patients in a nursing home and inspiring the topic of a real and popular crime story? She has used an online service involving pen pals for inmates. This is in spite of a strict law in Florida City, where she is found guilty for murdering nearly about five aged patients in a local nursing home and convicted, that prohibits such inmates to seek pen pals in prison.

In the year 2008, Catherine Wood posted an ad on a site, cowtowninfo.com that includes her photographs and physical traits. In this ad, Wood has emotionally appealed to both male and female for becoming her honest pen pals in prison in USA and teach her all exciting things in life that are long forgotten. She has never mentioned anything about her crime record in this online pen pal advertisement.

In Florida, the crime department adapts a policy that prohibits shrewd inmates from creating pen pals in Prison and exploiting them later. According to law makers, they need to do something to protect the public from dishonest prisoners. They believe that pen pals for inmates is a noble concept but inmates can’t give ads to grab the attention of innocent persons and make them send smuggled goods or cash to them and jeopardize the jail security system.

Before pen pals can reach to inmates through various online sources like Inmate-Connection, it is always safe to verify the inmate profiles properly and confirm their honesty to a new relationship.
